Al Robinson, Sales Associate at Lapointe Insurance, joins the Dispirito Real Estate Show to discuss the ongoing integration of Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in the insurance world.
Insurance companies have been using artificial intelligence for several years to identify and mitigate risks. However, more and more, we are seeing this technology used on the service end, from A.I. chatbots to guided voicemail systems.
As well, A.I. has been used more frequently to aid in the claims process. For many clients and agents, filing claims can be a stressful and drawn-out process. However, A.I. is targetting those pain points by making filing a claim easier than ever.
Lastly, A.I. is being used by insurance companies to investigate insurance fraud. It is estimated that insurance fraud is a problem that costs $308 billion each year. Insurance companies are using artificial intelligence to detect cases of fraud, helping save money for consumers in the long run.
In sum, artificial intelligence is being used by insurance companies in several areas, including:
- Servicing Accounts
- Filing Claims
- Detecting Insurance Fraud
